根据该板块的设计意图和功能，本课时的教学设计旨在激活学生与单元话题有关的已有知识，引导学生联系自己的亲身经历进行相关话题的讨论，帮助学生为后面其它板块的学习积累信息并同时进行词汇准备，调动学生继续学习本单元其它板块的积极性。学生的学习活动以听说为主，学习内容包括：与现代科技及家用电子产品相关的词汇，与此话题相关的生活经历的讨论和交流，对现代科技带来的变革如何全面认识，提升他们的批判性思维能力和对不同观点的尊重与包容等。
Teaching aims:
