Described as a "child Picasso" by the Indian media, five-year-old Shorya hit the headlines last month when India's most famous cartoonist, RK Laxman, took him under his wing by welcoming the young talented artist into his home. His father, Aditya says, he was so impressed that he suggested the pair put on an exhibition together in Mumbai next month.
Dressed in his painting trousers, cartoon-themed shoes and collarless shirt, Shorya set to work.
