The Henry Doorly zoo is one of the great things about living in Omaha. Reader’s Digest even named it the Best Zoo in America in 2004. The Henry Doorly zoo was built in 1894. But before 1963, it was named as the Riverview Park Zoo. Four years after it was built, the zoo boasted 120 animals. Today, the zoo can claim North America’s largest cat complex, the world’s largest nocturnal(夜间的) exhibit and indoor swamp, the world’s largest indoor rainforest, and the world’s largest indoor desert.
