Before I came to Belgium,I researched which stores sold gluten-free products.I discovered a store,Delhaize,had gluten-free bread and other products.At Delhaize,I found a gluten-free section,but products were mislabeled,so I ended up buying some products containing gluten.I later realized that Belgians don’t always use the word “gluten” but sometimes use the Dutch word “tarwe”,meaning flour.It’s necessary for me to learn all the foods with gluten in the native language to make shopping easier.
