university, college
1）university指“大学”。例如：
He is a teacher in a university. 他是一个大学的老师。
My father graduated from Oxford University. 我父亲毕业于牛津大学。
2）college指“学院”。一个大学内部可以有几个甚至十几个学院；也可指独立的学院。
He studies in a college of English. 他在一所英语学院学习。
There are many colleges at Oxford and Cambridge. 牛津和剑桥有许多学院。
unless, if…not
unless＝if…not，是“除非”、“如果不”的意思可以引导一个条件从句。不同点在于：if…not是口语，unless是书面语。如：
I shall go there unless it rains.（＝I shall go there if it doesn’t rain.）我去，除非下雨。（如果不下雨，我将去。）
