Dear Peter,
It's a good idea to run an “Afterschool Class” for students to study English t ogether. In my opinion, you'd better focus on the learners' ability of speaking English. Most of Chine se stud ents' ability of speaking English is quite low. You know, more and more students choose to study abroad after they graduate from middle school, and it's just because they want to study English in a real English culture. So it's nice for them to be with a native speaker. As for the students' level, I think Senior 2 students can be more interested, because they have a strong desire to learn more about the culture of other countries, making good pre parations for work. And there are some other things you need to consider, such as the materials, the length of the course and so on.
I hope what I'v e mentioned above will be helpful to you.
Best wishes !
Yours,
Li Hua
